Cristiano Ronaldo is back with the Portugal squad as they prepare for the international matches in October.
The all-time record international goalscorer is looking to add to his incredible 111 goals for his country.
Ronaldo was pictured smiling and looking much happier than when he left the pitch at Old Trafford on Saturday following Manchester United’s draw with Everton.
It’s good to see Ronaldo smile again after the weekend. There was an almighty fury that he was left out for the Toffees game, with media commentators taking the opportunity to criticize United for a blow he self-inflicted on himself.
But United were winning that game 1-0 when Ronaldo came on, so the moans about him being left out fall flat.
Ronaldo is now with Portugal for two matches in which he expects to add to his number of goals.
Portugal will face Qatar in a friendly on Saturday at 8.15 p.m. before hosting Luxembourg in World Cup qualifying the following Tuesday at 7.45 p.m.
Several of Ronaldo United’s teammates were pictured at Carrington on Tuesday, including Marcus Rashford, Donny van de Beek and Mason Greenwood.
