Liquid Geography Rosé d’Olé & Obrigado for the benefit of the Community Foundation of Catering Workers



Olé & Obrigado is pleased to add RWCF to its list of beneficiaries of Liquid Geography Rosé, which has raised more than $ 372,000 since 2013 for non-profit causes.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY, UNITED STATES, July 1, 2021 – After raising over $ 65,000 in 2020 for the Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation’s Covid 19 Crisis Relief Fund through its Restaurant Relief Pack, Olé & Obrigado has added the organization to its community of beneficiaries sales of Liquid Geography MencÍa Rosé. The fund has distributed over $ 6.5 million in direct aid (to individuals, partner nonprofits, and zero-interest restaurant loans) since March 2020. Funds raised through sales of Liquid Geography Mencía will support these ongoing programs.

Since launching the brand in 2013, Olé & Obrigado has donated over $ 372,000 from Liquid Geography sales to nonprofits such as TJ Martell Foundation, South Bronx Educational Foundation, Wheeling Forward, World Central Kitchen , Wellfleet SPAT and now RWCF The brand’s goal is to reach $ 1 million. in funds raised by 2025.

About the Community Food Service Workers Foundation

The Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation is a non-profit advocacy and action association created by and for restaurant workers. In 2020, they created the Covid-19 Relief Fund to provide direct assistance to affected workers in the hospitality industry. The fund uses any funds donated during the crisis phase to meet these ongoing needs, with 50% of funds allocated to direct aid to individual workers, 25% allocated to nonprofits serving restaurateurs in crisis and 25% of funds allocated to zero-interest loans to get restaurants back up and running.
