New Zealand tied for 14th in the world with China, with two Gold Lions, one Silver Lion and six Bronze Lions at the 2022 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.

The United States was by far the dominant country, with 231 Lions, followed by Brazil with 69 Lions and the United Kingdom with 63 Lions.
