CBRE – Paul steadman has joined the Global Real Estate Advisor’s UK Logistics Capital Markets team as Director of Gerald Eve where he was a partner in the capital markets team. Steadman started his career at CBRE in 2013 and joined Gerald Eve in 2017, where he specialized in the acquisition and disposal of industrial and logistics investments across the UK. Charlotte dawidek also joined as a senior surveyor of JLL, where she was a senior surveyor on the national investment capital markets team.
DIF Capital Partenaires – Based in London, Caine Bouwmeester will assume the role of responsible for renewable energies of Christophe mansfield; and in Frankfurt, Marcel Beverungen will take charge of Germany from Carl Jobst from Hoersten. The successors both joined DIF in 2020. Bouwmeester is Managing Director and joined Macquarie’s Green Investment Group in London. Beverungen is Managing Director and joined Rothschild in Frankfurt, where he was responsible for the creation and execution of energy and power and infrastructure in the DACH region. Prior to Rothschild, Beverungen worked for UBS and Dresdner Kleinwort in Frankfurt and London. Mansfield and Jobst von Hoersten both retire as partners after 13 years respectively at the head of renewable energies and at the head of Germany. Mansfield has led DIF’s renewable energy practice since its inception in 2008. Jobst von Hoersten founded the Frankfurt office in 2008 and developed DIF’s presence in the DACH region. They will assume certain non-executive functions at the DIF.
Company of Ravens Trammell – The global commercial real estate developer and investor has appointed Marc DaiÃ director of business development for the company’s logistics team in Germany and Austria. He will participate in the search for new logistics development opportunities, in the budgeting and underwriting of new projects, as well as in the supervision of projects from the acquisition and design stages, through the development of the design to ‘to the output. DaiÃ previously held the position of Senior Director of Development at Deutsche Logistik Holding in Hamburg and held various positions at GARBE Industrial Real Estate.
Capital Denham – The global infrastructure, energy and resources investment firm has appointed Jorge CamiÃ±a as a partner and responsible for the credit of its new credit platform for sustainable infrastructure. CamiÃ±a brings over 20 years of experience in project finance and investment management, having held managerial positions in both Global investors Allianz and Santander Corporate & Investment Banking. Until recently, he was Director of Infrastructure Debt at Allianz Global Investors.
Aquila Capital – Petter M TÃ¸mmeraas, former senior vice president of data center services at Basic farm, will join as CEO of Aquila Capital’s data center business, AQ Compute. He will be based in Oslo, Norway, and will report to Rolf Zarnekow, responsible for managing real estate investments. TÃ¸mmeraas has over 20 years of experience in the data center industry, developing projects and programs that generate growth and impact. In his most recent role, he led the data center business for Basefarm. Before joining Basefarm, he worked as a sales manager for the Norwegian data center company Green Mountain. He started working in Data Center Services, Telecommunications Services and Managed Services Industry in 1998 and is one of the founding members as well as current Chairman of the Norwegian Industry Board of data centers.
NAS Invest Group – Peter Back has been appointed Managing Director of the new Nordic real estate branch NAS Real Nordics. Return joined from Lintrup & Norgart, a Danish real estate consultancy, where he recently led the capital markets team as a co-partner. With the appointment of Back as Managing Director, NAS Real Nordics began operations and manages a Danish real estate portfolio, consisting primarily of â¬ 200 million of properties located in the Copenhagen area.
Investec – Jane niles has been appointed Head of Offshore Real Estate, within the firm’s corporate and family office team in the Channel Islands. Niles joined Investec in 2016. Niles was previously Head of Corporate and Family Office, Guernsey, at Investec Bank (Channel Islands). She joined Investec after an international banking career based in Hong Kong and London.
Urban Land Institute – Francisco Rocha Antunes, Director of Development at + Urbano, has been appointed President of ULI Portugal. He succeeds Eduardo Abreu, partner of Neoturis – Consultoria Em Turismo, and officially began his two-year voluntary mandate on September 1. Antunes has supported ULI Portugal since 2004 and, as a full member, sits on the European Council for Living Concepts Products.
Tritax Big Box REIT – Wu gang was appointed non-executive director. He will also be appointed member of the audit and risk committees and of the management mission. He created and led the European investment banking team of CLSA Securities from 2015 to 2019. Prior to CLSA Securities, he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions and general industry activities at ICBC International. He has also held senior positions at the Royal Bank of Scotland, HSBC and Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong and London. He started his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs.
