PH includes Portugal in the countries of the red list

The Philippines will include Portugal in its list of red countries, or those at high risk of COVID-19, from December 12, Malacañang announced Friday.

From December 12 to 14, travelers from Portugal would be allowed in but would have to undergo quarantine and testing protocols for the return of Filipinos from Red List countries.

From December 15, Portuguese travelers will no longer be able to enter the Philippines, unless they are Filipino for repatriation on flights from Bayanihan.

Arriving travelers would be required to present a negative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction test performed within 72 hours of departure from their country of origin. —Leila B. Salaverria
