Vasco Consult appoints Inês Cunha to lead the data center in Portugal


Vasco Consult has appointed Inês Pimentel Cunha as the inaugural General Manager of its Data Competence Center in Portugal.

The appointment comes shortly after the Dutch-born consultancy launched its Data Competence Center in Faro and Lisbon with the aim of creating an offshore consulting and managed services division specializing in data science and capabilities. digital.

“Our new team in Portugal will help us support our clients in their digital and data-driven ambitions,” said Ruben Uppelschoten, founder of Vasco Consult.

In her role, Inês was responsible for setting up and leading the growth of the operation, advancing initial offerings (focused on revenue assurance, business intelligence and data migrations) and expand the team by hiring new members.

During this time, Inês will also lead the company’s growth in the Portuguese market, with the aim of integrating several local clients into its current portfolio of Dutch clients.

Prior to joining the 30-person consultancy, Inês was a business unit manager at two Portuguese consultancies in Porto. She started her career seven years ago at SGS, a global testing, inspection and certification company.
